To celebrate Independence Day, Anthony Mackie has released a behind-the-scenes photo of him as Sam Wilson in the upcoming Marvel Studios film, “Captain America: Brave New World”.

Anthony added a caption to the photo saying:

“Happy Birthday America! Have a great 4th, see you soon…,”

Currently, very little is known about the plot of the upcoming film, but it’s expected to continue some of the storylines from “The Incredible Hulk” since  Tim Blake Nelson is returning as The Leader, and Liz Tyler is returning as Betty, Bruce Banner’s former girlfriend.   Plus, Harrison Ford is going to be taking over the role of Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross, who the late William Hurt previously played.  It’s expected that we will see Ross finally become the Red Hulk.

The new movie will also star Carl Lumbly, Danny Ramirez, Xosha Roquemore, Seth Rollins, and Rosa Salazar.  Giancarlo Esposito also recently revealed that he has joined the cast during the recent reshoots.

Marvel Studios’ “Captain America: Brave New World” will arrive in theatres on February 14th, 2025 and Disney+ later in 2025.

You can get ready for the new film by watching the Disney+ Original series, “The Falcon And The Winter Soldier”, which follows Sam’s journey to accepting the mantle of Captain America, after Steve Rogers gave him the infamous shield at the end of “Avengers: Endgame”.
