Demetrius Grosse Teases Upcoming Marvel “Wonder Man” Disney+ Series
Earlier this year, Marvel Studios wrapped filming on a brand new Disney+ series, “Wonder Man”, which will tell the story of Hollywood actor Simon Williams, who is thrust into the world of superheroes as he gains powers of his own and becomes the new superhero, Wonder Man.
The upcoming Disney+ series will star Abdul-Mateen II in the title role, plus we will also see the return of Ben Kingsley as Trevor Slattery, who appeared in “Iron Man 3” and “Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings”. Also set to appear in the new series is Ed Harris, Josh Gad, and Lauren Glazier.
Recently, Demetrius Grosse, who plays Wonder Man’s brother, Eric Williams, aka Grim Reaper, spoke with ComicBook and teased his involvement in the upcoming Disney+ series.
“Yes, and I think people are going to be intrigued by the dynamic between Simon Williams and Eric Williams as much as they’re excited about the dynamic between Grim Reaper and Wonder Man. This series is gonna be a very, very different kind of show, but pleasantly so.”
While Marvel hasn’t revealed officially that “Wonder Man” is coming to Disney+, recently on the official Marvel Podcast, Kevin Feige confirmed that the show will also be a little different:
“We have a show coming up that we’ve talked very little about called Wonder Man, that I won’t talk about much today either except to say it’s extremely different than what we’ve done before.”
Expect more details on the upcoming “Wonder Man” series to be revealed at the upcoming Studio Showcase during the D23 Ultimate Fan Event in August.
