With the award seasons in full swing and just hours until this year’s Oscar nominees are announced, the annual Razzie Award nominations have been revealed.

This year’s acting contenders feature former Oscar winners Jon Voight, Russell Crowe and Dame Helen Mirren, as well as Razzie Repeat Offenders Sylvester Stallone, Megan Fox and Jennifer Lopez.

Disney didn’t just have a bad year at the box office; it also managed to get two films nominated for Razzies, with Marvel’s “Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantmania” picking up four nominations, including Worst Actor and Worst Supporting Actor, while “Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny” got a nomination for its screenplay.

Following Winnie The Pooh going into the public domain, the horror film, “Winnie the Pooh: Blood & Honey” was released last year and was nominated for five Razzies, including Worst Movie. 

This year’s nominations have been voted on by Razzie Members, which include 1,179 movie buffs, film critics and journalists from 49 US States and two dozen foreign countries. Five top contenders were chosen in each of nine categories. The 44th Annual Razzie “Winners” (for whom there will literally be no red carpet) will be unveiled on the now traditional “Oscar Eve” on Saturday, 9th March 2024.
