Pixar’s “Monsters Inc”, “Coco” & “Incredibles” Coming To Disney Lorcana

Disney is kicking off 2026 with major announcements about its popular trading card game, Lorcana, which will introduce many new characters from established Pixar franchises, including “Coco”, “Toy Story”, “Monsters Inc.” and “The Incredibles”, all of which are available on Disney+.

The next set to be released in 2026 for Disney Lorcana will be “Winterspell”, which focuses on a flurry of winter fun activities with characters from other well-known Disney franchises such as “Frozen”, “Pocahontas”, “Darkwing Duck” and “Lilo & Stitch”.  

This next set will be released early at local game stores and in Disney Stores on February 13th, 2026, before being released elsewhere on February 20th, 2026.

Naomi Kim, Product Manager at Ravensburger on Disney Lorcana TCG, said in a statement regarding the new sets:

“Wintertime is such a reminiscent theme for so many of us. Lots of people have fond memories of snowball fights, spending time with loved ones, or sipping hot cocoa, and we wanted to bring that feeling of cozy, winter fun to Winterspell.  With these gorgeous cards, Illumineers will get the chance to experience flurries of fun around the table with friends and family – no snow required!”

Ravensburger was excited to reveal that the two beautiful Iconic cards for Winterspell, Moana – Curious Explorer and Pocahontas – Peacekeeper, will have a “Papercut Style,” similar to paper snowflake decorations. Enchanted cards in Winterspell follow a similar motif with a Frost foil effect over the cards, allowing collectors to share the fun of playing with these gorgeous, unique cards.

McKay Anderson, Art Director at Ravensburger on Disney Lorcana TCG added:

“The craftmanship that goes into each Disney Lorcana card is profoundly special.  Each piece of commissioned artwork and the game design and thoughtfully chosen and executed, so players and fans get an immersive gameplaying experience each time they open a card pack and begin Questing.”

Highlighting the new glimmer versions of fan-favourite characters joining the set, Ravensburger created a special feature video detailing a behind-the-scenes peek at what the team created for Elsa – Ice Artisan. Having discovered a mysterious plant growing out of the Inklands, an Elsa glimmer attempts to prevent this vine’s growth by freezing it. But her magic resulted in an unexpected winter to spread throughout the realm. 

Ravensburger has also revealed new details on some upcoming sets coming later this year, including “Wilds Unknown” that will introduce characters from other popular franchises, including “Brave”.  They will also be introducing new Pre-Release packs at local game stores, similar to how “Magic The Gathering” works, these will be available in game stores on the Ravensburger Play Hub starting May 8th, adding to the excitement. “Wilds Unknown” will be available everywhere on May 15th 2026.

More reveals for later this year were revealed, as coming this summer, a colossal threat will tower over the realm in “Attack of the Vine!”  This set will include new characters Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan, aka Sully, from Disney and Pixar’s Monsters Inc.    Another set will be coming out in the fourth quarter of 2026 and will feature characters from “Coco”.  

It’s also been announced that a new two-player starter pack will be released in May featuring Buzz Lightyear and Mrs Incredible.  This set will replace the single-player starter packs that have been released each set over the past year. 

Disney Lorcana features fantastic artwork from so many of Disney’s best movies and shows, all of which are available to stream on Disney+.
