“Best Christmas Ever” Short Coming Soon To Disney+

Disney has announced that a brand new holiday short called “Best Christmas Ever” will be coming to Disney+ and social media platforms later this month.

While we don’t know too much about this new short yet, the official description states that it will feature a magical new friend under the tree, and a year full of surprises ahead.  The poster also gives us a hint that the new friend is inspired by childhood imagination and looks to be made up of doodles. 

The poster also gives off the stereotypical Christmas feels, with a cute kid in her PJs, while standing next to a Christmas tree and a snowy background visible through the window. 

The new short has been directed by Taika Waititi, who also directed last year’s holiday short, “The Boy And The Octopus”. He also directed “Thor: Ragnarok”, “Thor: Love & Thunder” and “JoJo Rabbit”.

As with other holiday shorts, this will no doubt pull on those emotional heartstrings and help to get people get into the holiday spirit.  While also no doubt encouraging families to spend money on Disney merchandise for the holidays! 

This new short will be released on November 10th 2025, on Disney+.
