“Turning Red” To Feature In Disneyland’s “Pixar Fest”
Disney has announced that Pixar Fest will be returning to the Disneyland Resort from April 26th 2024, until August 4th 2024. The event will bring guests together for a celebration of friendship and beyond. From colourful décor and themed menu items to commemorative merchandise, the Disneyland Resort theme parks, hotels and Downtown Disney District will have a Pixar twist of friendly fun for a limited time.
This festival of friendship is highlighted by heartwarming entertainment featuring Pixar stories. An all-new daytime parade, “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!”, will debut at Disney California Adventure Park, and at Disneyland Park, the emotional “Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular” returns with some all-new scenes.
During the celebration, guests may encounter new characters such as Ember and Wade from “Elemental,”, along with Red Panda Mei from the Disney+ Original film, “Turning Red” and more.
Recently, there was a casting call for cast members to play members of 4Town and Mei, which is what we can see in the concept art below:
Pixar’s “Turning Red” was a massive success for Disney+ when it was released last year, pulling in millions of viewers for its premiere. It was one of the most popular films on Disney+ in 2022.
Disney will be announcing more details regarding additional entertainment and offerings during Pixar Fest at a later date.
You can watch “Turning Red”, along with many other Pixar films including “Coco” and “Elemental” on Disney+ now.
