7 Movies to Get You Ready for Baseball Season
Baseball season begins today, April 7th, in the United States. It’s called “America’s Pasttime” due to its popularity in the first half of the 20th century. While it is the second most popular sport in the United States in the 21st century, it is still immensely popular. It also has a major following in Latin American and Asian markets. We’ll look at seven movies currently available on Disney+ in the United States to get you ready for baseball season.
7. HOW TO PLAY BASEBALL
The 1942 short is part of the Goofy demonstration series. In this short, Goofy plays all the positions on a baseball field and demonstrates many different types of pitches.

In this film, Eddie Ogden is a baseball prodigy who decided to enter a major cooking contest. Unfortunately, the contest is on the same day as an important playoff baseball game. The 14-year-old must decide if he can fulfill his obligation to his team and still be true to himself.

In the third film in “The Sandlot” franchise, a bitter, egotistical baseball star is sent back in time to when he was 12 to rediscover his love of the game as he plays on a sandlot.
