20th Television Developing “Girls Trip”

20th Television is developing a new project with Kim Kardashian, called “Girls Trip”, which is being co-created by La La Anthony.

This show tells the story of what happens when the Bay Area’s most sought-after crisis manager for professional athletes finds her own life upended by her husband’s scandal, she turns to the three women who’ve been by her side through every version of her life. Together they navigate dating, ambition, motherhood, and the glamorous mess of starting over.

It’s expected that La La Anthony will be playing the lead role and has previously starred in “The Chi” and “Power”.

The show is being written by Tracy Oliver, who has previously worked on “Little”, “The Sun Is Also a Star”, “First Wives Club” and “Harlem”.

Kim Kardashian currently has a first-look deal with 20th Television and works with Disney on “The Kardashians” and the drama series, “All’s Fair”.

No other details on “Girls Trip” have been revealed, such as when it might be released on Hulu or Disney+. As with any project in early development, things may change, and it might not necessarily get made or released.
