Disney+ Original “Gold Land” Trailer Released
Disney has released a trailer for the upcoming Korean drama series, “Gold Land”, which will be coming to Disney+ and Hulu later this month.
This series follows Heeju, a girl from a sleepy backwater town who accidentally comes into possession of gold bars from a smuggling organisation. Suddenly finding herself in a van full of gold and on the run from some of Korea’s most dangerous men, Heeju heads towards the one place she swore she would never return.

“Gold Land” stars Park Boyoung in the main role of Heeju, and Park has previously starred in the Disney+ series, “Light Shop”.
Kim Sung-cheol will be playing the role of Jang Wook (also known as Woogy), a member of the criminal organisation chasing Heeju. However, Jang Wook and Heeju have an old bond, having lived in the same neighbourhood when they were growing up. Kim has previously starred in “The Battle of Jangsari”.
The series is written by Hwang Joyoon, who previously worked on the film, “Oldboy” and directed by Kim Sunghoon, who previously worked on the Disney+ series, “Chief Detective 1958”.
“Gold Land” will be coming to Disney+ on April 29th 2026.
