Disney has announced that the hit series, “Shark Tank” is going to be returning for sixteenth season.  This critically acclaimed and multi-Emmy Award-winning business-themed unscripted series that celebrates entrepreneurship in America.

The hit reality show that has become a culturally defining series and inspires a nation to dream bigger has amassed an amazing $8 billion in retail sales from deals offered in the Tank.

The Sharks – tough, self-made, multimillionaire and billionaire tycoons – continue their search to invest in the best businesses and products that America has to offer. The Sharks will once again give people from all walks of life the chance to chase the American dream and potentially secure business deals that could make them millionaires.

The Sharks are billionaire Mark Cuban, owner and chairman of AXS TV and outspoken owner of the 2011 NBA champion Dallas Mavericks; real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran; “Queen of QVC” Lori Greiner; technology innovator Robert Herjavec; fashion and branding expert Daymond John; and venture capitalist Kevin O’Leary.

Mark Burnett, Clay Newbill, Yun Lingner, Max Swedlow, Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, Kevin O’Leary, Phil Gurin and Brandon Wallace are the executive producers of “Shark Tank,” which is based on the Japanese “Dragons’ Den” format, created by Nippon Television Network Corporation. The series is produced by MGM Television in association with Sony Pictures Television, which is why the show is currently only available on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States.

No release date for the upcoming sixteenth season has been announced, but considering the past dozen seasons have premiered on ABC in late September/Early October, it’s likely the new season will also return for the Fall season.

Many of the previous seasons of “Shark Tank” are available to stream now on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+.
