One of the biggest announcements out of Disney’s Investor Day is that all 30 seasons of “The Simpsons” will be available on Disney+, on November 12th.

“The Simpsons” is one of the biggest franchises that was included in the sale of 21st Century Fox to Disney.

During the presentation, a special “trailer” was released, with “The Simpsons” welcoming their new owners and announcing they will be on Disney+.  This is done with a tongue-in-cheek style with nods to Dumbo, Darth Vader and CEO Bob Iger.

Check out the trailer below:

“The Simpsons” recently got renewed for a further two seasons, which will air on Fox, but its unclear when these new seasons will be available on Disney+.

While much of the public considers "The Simpsons" to be family-friendly, the show has always been aimed primarily at adults and was the foundation on which the genre of "adult animation" was built. Despite the show's popularity among kids, putting "The Simpsons" on Disney Plus" would subvert the very identity of the show, especially when Disney now has Hulu for more adult-oriented fare.
