20th Television Animation is looking to expand its success with a brand-new animated series for adults called “Journey to the Center of the Internet.” Jon Eidson and Nick Smith, members of the Los Angeles comedy troupe Extremely Decent, are creating and writing the series.

“Journey to the Center of the Internet” is about two brothers who can warp inside the Internet, where the magnificent hellscape of cyberspace has come to life.

According to Deadline, this new comedy is being developed by Jon Eidson, Nick Smith, and Jordan Dunn. The show will be executive produced by Zack Waxenberg and Michael Rotenberg of 3Arts, along with Eidson and Smith, with Dunn also being a co-executive producer.

20th Television Animation is behind many of the hit shows on Hulu and Disney+, including “Family Guy”, “Futurama” and “Solar Opposites”.

Given the wild and wacky things you can find on the internet, the concept behind this series is very open to continuous new ideas, which hopefully will give this series long legs to give 20th Television Animation a new major hit.

Hulu has given a presentation order for the series, so expect to see the series released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world.  Though no release date has yet been announced, so it could be a while off yet.
