Nielsen has announced its top 10 streaming charts for the United States from April 1st, 2024, to April 7th, 2024. There are four different charts: Top 10 Originals, Acquired Shows, Movies, and a combined total chart.

The debut of Disney’s “Wish” pushed the movie to the top of the film streaming chart, and the 20th Television series, “The Resident”, was pushed to the top of the overall chart due to it being on both Netflix and Hulu/Hulu On Disney+.

There have been some adjustments to how Nielsen collects information, which has resulted in a boost in viewership numbers for Hulu content. Most of the acquired chart now makes up Disney-owned content, which is available via Hulu On Disney+.

The hit FX series, “Shogun”, continues to be a hit on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+, holding its spot on the originals chart, though Netflix is dominating the originals division at the moment.

“Bluey” continues to be a huge hit for Disney+, as does “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Family Guy”, “The Rookie”, “Bob’s Burgers” and “9-1-1” continue to attract millions of minutes of viewing time on Netflix and Hulu/Hulu On Disney+.
