Wilson Bethel Returning As Bullseye In “Daredevil: Born Again” Disney+ Series
Production on the upcoming Marvel Studios series, “Daredevil: Born Again” has resumed this week, following the show shutting down last summer due to the actor’s strike.
During this shutdown, the executives looked at what had already been filmed and decided to do something drastic, removing the writers and the director and bringing in a new creative team, which includes “Moon Knight” directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. The new showrunner will be trying to use as much footage that’s already been filmed as possible, but still making changes and shooting new episodes.
The new series will see Charlie Cox return as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio as the Kingpin, which will pick up after the events of “Echo”, where the Kingpin looks to become the mayor of New York.
Also returning for the new series will be Jon Bernthal as The Punisher, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen and Elden Henson as Foggy. Sandrine Holt, Michael Gandolfini, and Margarita Levieva will also star in the new series.
It has been revealed during an interview with ComicBook.com, that Wilson Bethel is also going to be returning as Bullseye, having previously played one of Daredevil’s core villains in the third season of the Netflix series.
It’s unclear if Wilson Bethel will be returning for a simple cameo or if the role will be larger in the upcoming Disney+ series.
Daredevil: Born Again is expected to be released on Disney+ next year, and while we wait for “Daredevil: Born Again”, you can now check out all of the Defender-era shows on Disney+!
