William Jackson Harper To Star In FX’s “Cry Wolf”
Disney’s FX is developing a brand new limited series called “Cry Wolf”, which is inspired by the Danish series, “Ulven Kommer” by Maja Jul Larsen, that will begin production soon.
This new psychological family thriller follows a social worker and a mother thrust into crisis when the mother’s teenage daughter alleges abuse, pushing both women to their limits as they navigate an impossible situation.
The upcoming limited series will star Olivia Colman and Brie Larson, along with Shawn Hatosy, Alyvia Alyn Lind and Jack Greig.
Deadline has revealed that William Jackson Harper has joined the cast and will be playing the role of Arthur, who is Kath’s (Colman) supervisor at Child Protective Services, and has a good sense of humour.
William has previously starred in “The Morning Show” and “The Good Place”, along with “The Underground Railroad” and Marvel’s “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”
The upcoming show is going to be produced by FX Productions and is being executive produced by Sarah Treem (The Affair, In Treatment), who serves as showrunner, Oliva Colman via her South of the River Pictures, Melissa Bernstein of Special Interests, and Brie Larson.
It’s unclear when “Cry Wolf” will be released, but as with other FX shows, we should expect to see it released on the FX linear channel, along with Hulu and Disney+ around the world.
