When Is “Upside-Down Magic” Coming To Disney+?
Upside-Down Magic is the latest Disney Channel Original Movie and is an enchanting fantasy movie based on the New York Times bestselling children’s book. Nory and her best friend Reina enter the Sage Academy for Magical Studies, where Nory’s unconventional powers land her in a class for those with wonky, or “upside-down,” magic. Undaunted, Nory sets out to prove that that upside-down magic can be just as powerful as right-side-up.
“Upside-Down Magic” will be shown on the Disney Channel in the United States on July 31st at 8:00 p.m. EDT/PDT and it will be available on the DisneyNOW app on August 1st.
But if you’re wondering when it will be available on Disney+, its a little more complicated, depending on where you live. In some countries, Disney Channels are no longer operating, so content is added much quicker, which is why “Upside-Down Magic” is coming to Disney+ in Australia and New Zealand on Friday, August 14th.
However, it won’t be as quick for most countries, as Disney Channel Original Movies, have been taking around six months from their initial release before they are added to Disney+. Zombies 2 was originally shown for the first time on Valentine’s Day on February 14th, and it will be added to Disney+ in the US on Friday, August 14th. Descendants 3 was shown for the first time on the Disney Channel on August 2nd 2019, before hitting Disney+ 6 months later in February 2nd 2020.
So it’s very likely that “Upside-Down Magic” will be arriving on Disney+ in the US and Canada in early 2021. However, it’s also possible that it might come to Disney+ a little earlier, but it’s best to expect a bit of a wait.
