20th Century Studios’ latest film, “Amsterdam”, is just hitting cinemas in October, but if you’re planning on holding out until the film is available to stream at home, hopefully, it won’t be too long!
A fascinating and richly intricate tale that brilliantly weaves historical fact with fiction for a timely, cinematic experience, 20th Century Studios’ and New Regency’s original crime epic about three close friends who find themselves at the centre of one of the most shocking secret plots in American history.
“Amsterdam” stars Academy Award winner Christian Bale, two-time Oscar nominee Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Alessandro Nivola, Andrea Riseborough, Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Rock, Matthias Schoenaerts, Michael Shannon, Mike Myers, Taylor Swift, Zoe Saldaña, with Oscar-winner Rami Malek and two-time Academy Award winner Robert De Niro. Written and directed by five-time Oscar nominee David O. Russell, “Amsterdam” is produced by Arnon Milchan, Matthew Budman, Anthony Katagas, David O. Russell, and Christian Bale, with Yariv Milchan, Michael Schaefer, and Sam Hanson serving as executive producers.
When Is “Amsterdam” Released?
“Amsterdam” is being released exclusively in cinemas on 7th October 2022.
When Will “Amsterdam” Be On Disney+?
This will very much differ, depending on where you live.
In the United States, due to a long-standing contract that 20th Century Fox signed with HBO years ago, which expires this year, the film will be going to HBO Max on Tuesday 6th December 2022.
Internationally, things are a little simpler. “Amsterdam” will be available on Disney+ in the UK, Ireland and Canada on Wednesday, 7th December 2022. While in Australia and New Zealand, the film was advertised to be coming out on September 23rd 2022, but it didn’t arrive, so is likely to be held back to tie in with other countries.
Is “Amsterdam” Coming To Disney+ Premier Access?
Disney has confirmed that following the release of “Jungle Cruise”, it won’t be using Disney+ Premier Access, instead offering selected movies exclusively in cinemas first, before being released on Disney’s streaming services.
