One of the very first series announced for Disney+ was a “Rogue One” prequel series and the “Andor” series will explore a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.

Diego Luna returns as Cassian Andor and is joined by cast members Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough and Kyle Soller. The executive producers are Kathleen Kennedy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Diego Luna and Michelle Rejwan. Tony Gilroy is the creator and showrunner.


When Will New “Star Wars: Andor” Episodes Be Released On Disney+?

“Andor” launches exclusively on Disney+ on September 21st 2022, with the first three episodes and here’s a list of when each of the new episodes will be released:

What Time Will New Episodes Of “Star Wars: Andor” Be Released On Disney+

Disney+ updates on Wednesdays at the following times:

  • Pacific Time: 00:00 AM / Midnight
  • Eastern Time: 03:00 AM
  • UK: 08:00 AM
  • Sydney, Australia – 19:00 PM

Sometimes episodes can arrive a few minutes later as the servers update. The Disney+ front page usually updates about an hour later.


Is “Star Wars: Andor” on Netflix or Hulu?

This series is made by LucasFilm exclusively for Disney+, so will not be available on Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon or Hulu.
