It’s Sunday, and time to look at what’s trending on Disney+. The release of the Taylor Swift—The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) concert has shot straight to the top of the trending chart, showcasing the superstar’s popularity and why Disney spent $75 million on the rights to stream it.

This week, a new episode of the third season of “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” was released, which kept it in the trending chart in the US and for some bizarre reason, “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” continues to get a boost in viewership, but I’m sure its because  the movie that plays straight after “The Bad Batch” and is getting an artificial bump (because why else would anyone be watching it!?)

“Bluey” continues to keep pulling in audiences on the trending chart, which is mainly full of the usual suspects of popular films, though “Inside Out” has received a bump in viewership with the recent trailer for “Inside Out 2” being released.

While Hulu on Disney+ launched in the US last month, it’s still in its Beta version until March 2024, so any content from Hulu isn’t included in the main trending chart. 

In the United Kingdom, “Poor Things” slips onto the trending chart following its recent release and Oscar win.   “Grey’s Anatomy” continues to be the most popular show on the platform, while the new FX series, “Shōgun”, has kept pulling in viewers.  The second season of the British original series, “Extraordinary”, also has stayed in the trending chart.
