Pixar’s new short, “Burrow” also made a strong debut, burrowing its way into the top 10 and this week’s new episode of Disney Gallery, which takes a look at the making of the second season of “The Mandalorian” also pushed that show back into the trending chart.
With the addition of “Soul” to Disney+, it looks like many Disney+ subscribers also went back and checked out Pete Docter’s other movie, “Inside Out”.
As with previous weeks in the run up to Christmas, holiday-themed movies continue to dominate the trending chart with over a third of the titles. Many of these will naturally begin sliding out the trending list in the weeks ahead as the holidays come to an end.
Disney doesn’t provide actual viewing numbers for Disney+, so this chart is based off the Trending section on my Disney+ app on Sunday morning. Numbers within brackets indicate last weeks spot on the trending chart.
