It wasn’t a huge shock to see “Hamilton” smash its way straight to the top of the trending chart this weekend, along with some of the new additions this week include “The Mighty Ducks” and “Ice Age Collision Course” also pushed onto the top trending chart this weekend too.

Last week’s new additions slowly moved onto this weeks trending chart, with ANT Farm and Avengers: Infinity War sliding into the top 10.  Along with the new Disney+ documentary series, Into The Unknown, which also gave Frozen 2 a big bumper push, since the movie was also added to Disney+ in the UK this past week, so would have received a bump in viewing numbers.

Disney doesn’t provide actual viewing numbers for Disney+, so this chart is based off the Trending section on my Disney+ app on Sunday morning.  Numbers within brackets indicate last weeks spot on the trending chart.

No surprise on Hamilton, considering the hype. I only saw a few seconds of the film and it certainly seems well put together (I've seen a touring production and already know the story and songs themselves ARE worth the hype :) ) However, I don't think I've ever read a "What's Trending on Disney+" without seeing Simpsons. Has it ever NOT make the top 25? :)
