It’s Friday and time to take a look at what’s been added onto Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland today, which includes a brand new film from Searchlight Pictures.

Harriet (Lucy Boynton) finds art imitating life when she discovers certain songs can transport her back in time – literally. While she relives the past through romantic memories of her former boyfriend (David Corenswet), her time travelling collides with a burgeoning new love interest in the present (Justin H. Min). As she takes her journey through the hypnotic connection between music and memory, she wonders – even if she could change the past, should she?

Sacred Soil: The Piney Woods School Story

Sacred Soil: The Piney Woods School Story is a documentary film set against the culturally historical backdrop of one of the oldest Black boarding schools in America; the film provides a window into the ever-evolving, complex layers of Black excellence and exposes the hard sacrifices a unique group of marginalized teens make in hopes of achieving a real shot at life.
