Today, Disney has launched the second season of the Hulu/Star Original comedy series, “How I Met Your Father”, which is a spin-off of the popular comedy show, “How I Met Your Mother”.
In the near future, Sophie (Duff) is telling her son the story of how she met his father: a story that catapults us back to the present where Sophie and her close-knit group of friends are in the midst of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options.
In episode 1, After Sophie’s gallery show and Ian’s arrival, Sid and Hannah host an impromptu wedding reception at Pemberton’s. Jesse grapples with his decisions and confides in Ellen about Meredith.
The series stars Hilary Duff, Christopher Lowell, Francia Raisa, Tom Ainsley, Tien Tran, Suraj Sharma as well as recurring stars, Kim Cattrall, Daniel Augustin, Ashley Reyes and Josh Peck.
The comedy series returns today with the first episode, on Disney+ in many countries around the world, including Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The series is also available on Star+ in Latin America and on Hulu in the United States. A new episode will be released weekly.
