It’s Friday and time to take a look at what’s been added onto Disney+ in Australia and New Zealand today, which includes a brand new original film, “Hollywood Stargirl” plus much more.

Here’s the rundown:

Hollywood Stargirl

In this follow up to the Disney+ Original film, “Stargirl”, this film follows Stargirl’s (Grace VanderWaal) journey out of Mica, Arizona, and into a bigger world of music, dreams and possibilities. When her mother Ana (Judy Greer) is hired as the costume designer on a movie, they relocate to L.A., where Stargirl quickly becomes involved with an eclectic assortment of characters. They include aspiring filmmaking brothers Evan (Elijah Richardson) and Terrell (Tyrel Jackson Williams); Mr. Mitchell (Judd Hirsch), one of Stargirl’s neighbors; and Roxanne Martel (Uma Thurman), a musician Stargirl admires and encounters on her journey.

Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son (2011)

Malcolm Turner decides to protect his 17-year-old stepson, Trent, after he witnesses a murder. Father and son go undercover at an all-girls art school as Big Momma and her grand-niece, Charmaine.

In order to investigate an intelligence agent who is developing a computer worm that poses security risks, FBI agent Malcolm Turner goes undercover and works as a nanny in his house.

Big Momma’s House (2000)

FBI agent Malcolm specialises in disguising himself beyond recognition. This time, he transforms into an old lady to get hold of a bank robber who will visit his ex-girlfriend.

Elektra (2005)

Elektra, a warrior, faces a life-threatening situation, after which she decides to work as an assassin. When she is tasked to kill an innocent man and his daughter, she decides to protect them.

The Girl Next Door (2004)

Matthew, a high school senior, thinks that he has found the woman of his dreams. However, he soon learns that Danielle, the object of his affection, is a former adult film actress.

Just My Luck

Ashley meets Jake at a party and soon learns that her good luck has been switched with his bad fortune. Leading an ideal life now, Jake falls in love with her and tries to win her heart.
