It’s the weekend, and if you’re looking for something to watch, there’s plenty of new content to enjoy on Disney+ this week, including the first-ever animated series from Pixar, plus a new British Original drama series from the creator of “Peaky Blinders”.  There are also new episodes of original shows such as “Paradise”, “High Potential” and “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man”, plus much more.

Here’s a look at what’s new on Disney+ in the UK this week:

Pixar’s Win Or Lose

This new series reveals what it feels like to be in the shoes of eight different characters—the insecure kids, their helicopter parents, even a lovesick umpire—as they prepare for a championship softball game. Will Forte lends his voice to the coach.

A Thousand Blows

BAFTA award-winning actor Malachi Kirby (“Small Axe”) is Hezekiah Moscow, and finds himself thrust into the vibrant and violent melting pot of post-industrial revolution London’s East End from Jamaica. Drawn into the criminal underbelly of the thriving boxing scene, he meets Mary Carr, played by Erin Doherty (“The Crown”), leader of The Forty Elephants – the notorious all-female London gang – as they battle for survival on the streets. As Hezekiah sharpens his new skills, he comes up against Sugar Goodson, played by Stephen Graham (“Boiling Point”, “Boardwalk Empire”), a seasoned and dangerous boxer and the two are soon locked into an intense rivalry that spills out way beyond the ring.

Chris Distefano: It’s Just Unfortunate

Chris Distefano is trying to be the best father he can be but nowadays, words speak louder than actions — so Chris is acting with the right intentions, but not always the right moves.

Scamanda

Based on the No. 1 podcast of the same name, unravels the story of California native Amanda Riley, a young wife, mother and devout Christian whose life suddenly takes a terrible turn when she is diagnosed with Stage 3 blood cancer.

Buried Hearts

This new Korean Original series tells the story of Seo Dongju, who hacked a political slush fund worth two trillion won, risks it all for revenge.

The Space Race

This documentary weaves together the stories of Black astronauts seeking to break the bonds of social injustice to reach for the stars, including Guion Bluford, Ed Dwight and Charles Bolden, among many others. In THE SPACE RACE, directors Diego Hurtado de Mendoza and Lisa Cortés profile the pioneering Black pilots, scientists and engineers who joined NASA to serve their country in space, even as their country failed to achieve equality for them back on Earth. From 1963, when the assassination of JFK thwarted Captain Ed Dwight’s quest to reach the moon, to 2020, when the echoes of the civil unrest sparked by the killing of George Floyd reached the International Space Station, the story of African Americans at NASA is a tale of world events colliding with the aspirations of uncommon men. The bright dreams of Afrofuturism become reality in THE SPACE RACE, turning science fiction into science fact and forever redefining what “the right stuff” looks like, giving us new heroes to celebrate and a fresh history to explore.

How to Get Away with Murder (S1-6)

Annalise Keating, a lawyer, teaches a class from which she selects the brightest students to assist her in cases at the firm. Soon, she finds her life entangled with four students.

Paradise – New Episode

“Paradise” is set in a serene community inhabited by some of the world’s most prominent individuals. But this tranquillity explodes when a shocking murder occurs, and a high-stakes investigation unfolds.  In this episode, Xavier and Robinson set their plans in motion while Sinatra works to preserve the status quo in Paradise.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man – Season Finale

The animated series follows Peter Parker on his way to becoming Spider-Man in the MCU, with a journey unlike we’ve ever seen and a style that celebrates the character’s early comic book roots.

NCIS – Season 22 – New Episode

Torres receives intel from a confidential informant regarding top secret naval information that’s at risk of being sold.

Ishura – S2 – New Episode

A host of demigods have inherited the world after the Demon King has died, and a battle to determine the mightiest ensues.

American Dad – Season 20 – New Episode

Smith’s family consists of four members which include an unusual goldfish that has the mind of a German football player and an alien. Smith, along with the CIA, tries to save America from threats.

The Kardashians – New Episode

Kim follows in Kris’ footsteps and takes on the Momager role when North is presented with an opportunity. Kendall and Kylie bring their new collaboration to Sin City, while Khloé tries to help Scott find a new assistant.

High Potential – New Episode

A wild office party at a high-profile medical technology startup leads to the shocking murder of the founder and CEO, and Morgan and the team are on the case. Meanwhile, a new co-worker at the precinct catches Morgan’s eye.

Will Trent – Season 3 – New Episode

Based on Karin Slaughter’s bestselling books, the series follows Special Agent Will Trent of the Georgia Bureau of Investigations. In this episode, Under mounting political pressure, the GBI and ADA Marion Alba race against time to rescue a kidnapped child, all while uncovering dark secrets that could shatter their preconceived notions of the law enforcement community.
