It’s the start of a new week and time to take a look at what’s coming to Disney+.  The biggest new release this week is the live-action version of “Mulan”, which will be available as part of Disney’s new Premier Access program.  There is also lots of new library content being added in the United States, plus a brand new Disney+ Original series, “Earth To Ned”.

Tuesday 1st September

Cinderella (2015)

After the untimely death of her father, Ella is troubled by her stepmother and stepsisters. However, her life changes forever after dancing with a charming stranger at the Royal Ball.


Friday 4th September

Mulan

To save her ailing father from serving in the Imperial Army, a fearless young woman disguises herself as a man to battle northern invaders in China.

The Wolverine

The Wolverine returns to face his ultimate nemesis in an action packed battle that takes him to modern day Japan; an epic fight that will change him forever.


Earth To Ned (Global)

From the Jim Henson Company comes a late-night talk show hosted by alien commander Ned and his lieutenant Cornelius, who call off the invasion of Earth after they fall in love with human culture. Broadcasting from the bridge of their spaceship, hidden deep underground, Ned and Cornelius interview Earth’s greatest resource, celebrities. With the help of the ship’s artificial intelligence, BETI, and the destructive CLODs, Ned must keep his show a secret from his home planet or suffer the wrath of his father, the Admiral of the Galactic Fleet.  All 10 episodes will be dropping on September 4th.


Weird But True – Episode 304 – Germs (Global)

Hosts Carly and Charlie are nominated for a Daytime Crafty Award! The awards ceremony is just around the corner, and Casey is helping them with their costumes…until she comes down with a cold! To avoid getting sick from the germs Casey is spreading throughout HQ, Carly and Charlie must understand all there is to know about germs. They head to Germfree Laboratories and Mushroom Mountain to examine good hygiene and health practices.


Pixar In Real Life – Episode 111 – “Coco: Abuelita Says No Music” – Finale (Global)

Abuelita shakes her chancla at the street performers in Washington Square Park and asks real New Yorkers to help her find her grandson. She eventually finds Miguel playing guitar, and he begs her to let him play just one song. The other street performers join in, creating a performance so delightful that even Abuelita can’t help but clap along.


Muppets Now (Episode 6) Finale – “Socialized” (Global)

Muppets Now social media intern, Robin The Frog, makes Scooter co-moderator of the social media accounts. Scooter attempts to carry out this week’s upload amidst a flood of alerts, requests, and notifications. Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and his assistant, Beaker, receive legal lectures and accidental assistance from Muppet attorney, Joe The Legal Weasel. The Swedish Chef faces his competitor, Marina Michelson, to prove his family recipe makes the most magnificent meatball. Fozzie Bear talks shop with fellow comedian Seth Rogen, while babysitting some bad babies. Linda Cardellini and Taye Diggs indulge Miss Piggy more than usual for this installment of Lifestyle with Miss Piggy


Ancient China from Above (s1)

The filmmaker sheds light on the ancient civilisation of China, one of the most populated nations on Earth, and explores its hidden landscapes and vast lands.


D2: The Mighty Ducks

An international competition for junior league hockey teams is being held in Los Angeles. Coach Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez) is picked to lead Team U.S.A. He reunites the “Mighty Ducks,” the teen misfits he once coached to victory. This time, crass sports promoter Tibbles (Michael Tucker) tempts the Ducks to cash in on their fame in lieu of practicing, but the team eventually gets back into training and takes on Iceland and their violence-prone coach, Wolf Stansson (Carsten Norgaard).


D3: The Mighty Ducks

The Ducks team receives scholarships to the prestigious Eden Hall Academy and soon faces off against the school’s arrogant varsity team with the help of their coach, Gordon Bombay.


Never Been Kissed

Josie, an editor, must go undercover at a high school to prepare a report on the lives of the students. However, she finds it difficult to fit in and school life brings back some unpleasant memories.


Strange Magic

After meeting Marianne, a fairy princess who is nursing a broken heart, Bog King’s views on love change as he realises that true love does not need a potion to blossom.


Trick or Treat

Trick or Treat is a 1952 animated short film produced by Walt Disney Productions and released by RKO Radio Pictures. The cartoon, which takes place on Halloween night, follows a series of pranks between Donald Duck and his nephews with Witch Hazel.


One Day At Disney – Episode 140 – “Alice Taylor: Studiolab”

Alice Taylor experiments with new storytelling mediums through Disney’s StudioLAB. From drones to augmented reality, Taylor uses innovation and emerging technologies to continue pushing the boundaries by which content can be created and shared with people around the world.
