It’s the start of a brand new week and time to take a look at what’s coming to Disney+ in Canada in the week ahead, which includes the latest film from Searchlight Pictures, the finale of “Welcome To Chippendales” and the return of “The Bad Batch”.

Welcome To Chippendales – Finale

A sprawling true-crime saga, Welcome To Chippendales tells the outrageous story of Somen “Steve” Banerjee, an Indian immigrant who became the unlikely founder of the world’s greatest male-stripping empire. The series will detail the insane, darkly comedic, crime-ridden story behind the unique male revue that became a cultural phenomenon.

Steve Banerjee works hard to achieve the American dream to provide for his family and leave a legacy behind that they can be proud of. While his attempt to build a booming business by exploiting sexual empowerment which features scantily clad men gyrating over eager women is a success, Steve very quickly becomes obsessed with wealth and power. He will do anything it takes to remove anyone in his way even if it means getting his hands a little bloody.

The Menu

Margot and Tyler, a young couple, travel to an elite, remote, coastal island in order to dine at an exclusive restaurant where a mysterious chef has prepared a lavish, expensive menu. But it soon becomes clear that the pretentious, pampered dinner guests are about to be served some shocking surprises. Consumerism takes on a hilariously scary meaning in this dark comedy that features Hong Chau, Janet McTeer, Judith Light and John Leguizamo in an all-star ensemble cast. “The Menu” is directed by Mark Mylod, with a screenplay by Seth Reiss & Will Tracy.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch – Season 2 – Episode 201 “Spoils of War” & Episode 202 “Ruins of War”

“Star Wars: The Bad Batch” follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in “The Clone Wars”) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Members of Bad Batch—a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army—each possess a singular exceptional skill that makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew.

In Season 2, months have passed since the events on Kamino and the Bad Batch continue their journey navigating the Empire after the fall of the Republic. They will cross paths with friends and foes, both new and familiar, as they take on a variety of thrilling mercenary missions that will take them to unexpected and dangerous new places.

Willow – Episode 7

An epic period fantasy series with a modern sensibility set in an enchanted land of breathtaking beauty, “Willow” features a diverse international cast with Jonathan Kasdan, Ron Howard, Wendy Mericle, Kathleen Kennedy, and Michelle Rejwan serving as executive producers. The story began with an aspiring magician from a Nelwyn village and an infant girl destined to unite the realms, who together helped destroy an evil queen and banish the forces of darkness. Now, in a magical world where brownies, sorcerers, trolls, and other mystical creatures flourish, the adventure continues, as an unlikely group of heroes set off on a dangerous quest to places far beyond their home, where they must face their inner demons and come together to save their world.

National Treasure – Edge Of History – Episode 5

Trust no one on a treasure hunt. Jess begins to wonder if this is true as she suspects someone close to her might’ve leaked an important clue to Billie, but she doesn’t want to believe it. While Tasha uses her tech skills to ferret out the mole, Jess realizes the key to the next step in the treasure hunt is locked in the Rare Books Room at the Governor’s mansion, leading Jess and her friends to plot a caper during the Governor’s Ball, where Jess’s trust in her friends will be tested.

American Horror Story: NYC (S11 – New Episodes)

An anthology of stories consisting of a house with a deadly secret, a demented asylum, a witch coven, an unusual show, a hotel, a haunted farmhouse, a cult and an apocalypse.

Grails: When Sneakers Change The Game

A behind-the-scenes look at entrepreneurs Earl Cooper and Olajuwon Ajanaku, the former Morehouse College golf champions who created the lifestyle brand Eastside Golf to promote diversity on the golf course.

Taiwan Crime Stories (S1 – Premiere)

“Taiwan Crime Stories” is an original Mandarin-language psychological thriller series that is inspired by four true crime investigations: a terror-stricken mass murder of a family; a chilling rape; a murder case and fraud and injustice cases.

Black Rock Shooter Dawn (S1 – New Episode)

It is 2062, after Earth has been devastated after the failure of an automation project when the KI called Artemis started a war against humanity, a girl called Empress awakens in a research laboratory and tries to save the decaying world.

Marvel’s Runaways (S3 – All Episodes)

A group of teenagers discover the real identity of their parents and run away from their homes. They try to discover the secrets of their origins and also to thaw their parents’ sinister plans.
