It’s the start of a brand new week and time to take a look at what’s coming to Disney+ this week in Australia and New Zealand, which includes some new documentaries to celebrate Earth Day, plus the season finale of “Shōgun”.

Tiger

Narrated by Priyanka Chopra Jonas, the film follows some Tiger cubs—curious, rambunctious and at times a bit clumsy—have a lot to learn from their savvy mother who will do all she can to keep them safe from pythons, bears and marauding male tigers.


Tigers on the Rise

Narrated by Blair Underwood, the film celebrates the remarkable comeback of one of the world’s most iconic animals. Tiger populations have rebounded so successfully, many of the big cats are venturing from India’s forest reserves into farms and villages—a monumental challenge for both people and animals. The heroes in this story are the vets, scientists and community patrols dedicated to ensuring that tigers and people can coexist.


Secrets Of The Octopus

Octopuses are like aliens on Earth: three hearts, blue blood, and the ability to squeeze through a space the size of their eyeball. But there is so much more to these weird and wonderful animals. Highly intelligent, octopuses can use tools, transform their bodies to mimic other animals and even communicate with different species, including us. The secrets of the octopus are more extraordinary than ever imagined.


Vanderpump Villa – New Episode

While things heat up romantically between two staff members, another employee begins to isolate themselves; when sparks fly at a festive dinner in town, ugly truths are revealed, making everyone question their relationships in the chateau.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch – Episode 314 “Flash Strike”

In the epic final season of “Star Wars: The Bad Batch,” the Batch will have their limits tested in the fight to reunite with Omega as she faces challenges of her own inside a remote Imperial science lab. With the group fractured and facing threats from all directions, they will have to seek out unexpected allies, embark on dangerous missions, and muster everything they have learned to free themselves from the Empire.


Marvel’s “X-Men 97” – New Episode

“X-Men’97” revisits the iconic era of the 1990s as The X-Men, a band of mutants who use their uncanny gifts to protect a world that hates and fears them, are challenged like never before, forced to face a dangerous and unexpected new future.


All Of Us Strangers

This film tells the story of what happens one night in his near-empty tower block in contemporary London; Adam (Andrew Scott) has a chance encounter with a mysterious neighbour Harry (Paul Mescal), which punctures the rhythm of his everyday life. As a relationship develops between them, Adam is preoccupied with memories of the past and finds himself drawn back to the suburban town where he grew up, and the childhood home where his parents (Claire Foy and Jamie Bell), appear to be living, just as they were on the day they died, 30 years before.


Not Dead Yet: Season 2 – New Episode

TJ asks Nell to play on the newspaper softball team; Lexi and Edward spend a weird version of quality time together; Duncan runs into an old rival.


We Were The Lucky Ones – New Episode

Halina and Adam prepare for impending violence in Warsaw. Genek embarks on a dangerous mission. Addy struggles to move on with the unknown fate of his family.


The Incredible Dr. Pol (S24, 10 episodes)

The presenter sheds light on the life of Dutch veterinarian Jan Pol as well as the activities at his veterinary clinic where he, along with his family and employees, treats wounded animals


Will Trent: Season 2 – New Episode

As threats against Amanda escalate, Will investigates, narrowing down a list of potential suspects; Amanda is forced to confront moments from her past; Ormewood struggles in Gina’s absence.


The Impossible Heir – New Episode

An ambitious boy grows up and joins an intense war of desires to become a star of his own.


Undead Unluck – New Episode

An unlucky girl meets an undead guy, and pure chaos ensues; Fuko Izumo is tired of her ability and sets out to end it all; but when she meets Andy, everything changes.


House of the Owl S1

Ogami Ryutaro, a powerful figure manipulating events from the shadows, clashes with his son Ogami Ryu, who operates as a vigilante to counter his father’s machinations and uphold justice.

Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story

The four-part, all access docuseries chronicles the epic past and uncertain future of one of the most recognizable bands in the world and its front-man Jon Bon Jovi. A 40-year odyssey of rock and roll idolatry on the precipice as a vocal injury threatens to bring everything to a screeching halt. “Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story” premieres April 26th only on Disney+ in Canada.

The series joins the band in February 2022 and follows their real time journey with its fits and starts as they attempt to chart out their future. As thrilling as the story of a once-in-a-lifetime talent is, it is even more rare that a legend like Jon Bon Jovi lets the world into his most vulnerable moments, while he’s still living them.

40 years of personal videos, unreleased early demos, original lyrics, and never before seen photos that chronicle the journey from Jersey Shore Clubs to the biggest stages on the planet. The series relives the triumphs and setbacks, greatest hits, biggest disappointments, and most public moments of friction.

The Fable – New Episode

The series follows a legendary killer for hire called “Fable” who has spent his entire life training to become the world’s best assassin. Famed within the underworld for his skillset, Fable knows nothing except how to deliver a quick death. After finishing off the year with more confirmed kills than ever before, Fable suddenly finds himself at a loss when the head of his crime family orders him to lay low and not kill anyone for a year. Suddenly uprooted, moved to Osaka and surrounded by trigger-happy criminals, Fable will be forced to control his temperament and adapt to the ordinary if he wants to survive.


Go! Go! Loser Ranger! – New Episode

A foot soldier sets out to infiltrate and take down a group of warriors known as the Dragon Keepers. He encounters obstacles and challenges as he attempts to complete his mission against the group.


Mission: Yozakura Family – New Episode

A family far from ordinary! High schooler Taiyo Asano, the ‘Ultimate Introvert’, lost his family in a tragic accident. The only one he could speak to is his childhood friend, Mutsumi Yozakura, who harbors a wild secret as the heir to a spy lineage. Her brother, Kyoichiro, a skilled spy, targets Taiyo. To save themselves, Taiyo agrees to marry Mutsumi and join the Yozakura family, embarking on an unprecedented mission!
