“We Call It Imagineering” Coming Soon To Disney+

Disney has announced that its documentary series about its Imagineering division, which creates all the rides and attractions at Disney’s theme parks and cruise ships around the world, called “We Call It Imagineering”, will be coming soon to Disney+.

Inspired by how Walt Disney took us along during the development of Disneyland, this new series brings you into the creative and design journey as they turbocharge their Disney Experiences.

This series showcases Imagineers — the folks who make the impossible possible — and the sky’s the limit as they take viewers through how they’re designing, innovating, and creating new experiences.

“We Call It Imagineering” has already been released on YouTube and features episodes on many different topics, including building castles, light shows, and highlighting popular attractions like the Haunted Mansion, Mystic Manor and much more.

The series will be released on Disney+ on Wednesday, 4th February 2026.

Roger’s Take:  It’s great to finally see Disney releasing this documentary series on Disney+, as they’ve been available on YouTube for months.  While I understand that these documentaries are more like glorified advertisements to encourage Disney fans to come back to the theme parks, I also don’t get why they weren’t released on Disney+ at the exact same time.
