Filming on the new Marvel Studios series, “Agatha: Coven of Chaos,” is due to begin in the next few weeks.

The new series is a spin-off from the smash-hit Disney+ series, “WandaVision”, which will focus on Agatha Harkness, played by Kathryn Hahn. Emma Caufield is also going to be reprising her WandaVision role as Sarah Proctor.

Some of the writing team from “WandaVision” will be returning to work on “Agatha: Coven of Chaos”. With Megan McDonnell revealing on her Writer’s Guild profile, that she is also returning to work on the series, along with Peter Cameron, Laura Donney, and Cameron Squires. “WandaVision” creator and exec producer Jac Schaeffer is also returning as the showrunner on “Agatha: Coven of Chaos”.

Originally the series was announced at the 2021 Disney+ Day as “Agatha: House Of Harkness”, but it was later revealed at the San Diego Comic-Con in 2022 that it was renamed. It was also revealed at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con that the series is due to be released on Disney+ in late 2023 or early 2024.

No other details on “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” have been officially revealed by Marvel.
