“Tron: Ares” Coming Soon To Digital, 4K Ultra Blu-Ray & DVD

Disney has announced details of the home video release of the third instalment in the iconic “Tron” franchise, “Tron: Ares”, which was released in cinemas earlier this year.

Get ready for the electrifying action and adventure of “Tron: Ares”. When a highly sophisticated Program named Ares is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, it marks humankind’s first encounter with AI beings.

The new movie will be heading to digital platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home, on December 2nd 2025, just in time for the holidays.

It will also be released on physical media formats such as 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and DVD, just over a month later, on January 6th 2026.   

No Disney+ release date has been announced yet, but it’s likely going to be around the same time the film arrives on physical media, unless Disney decides to drop it early for the holidays to get some additional streaming viewership.
