“Traveling With Snow Man” Coming Soon To Disney+
Earlier this week at Disney’s APAC Showcase event in Singapore, a brand-new unscripted series from Japan that is currently going by the working title of “Travelling With Snow Man”, is coming to Disney+ globally in 2025.
This new series will be made in collaboration with partner Nippon TV and features Japanese pop group Snow Man, who are represented by talent agency Starto Entertainment. The series will also air on Nippon TV and it will also stream on Hulu in Japan at the same time.
An undisputed top idol group in today’s Japanese entertainment industry, this show will be Snow Man’s first-ever travel reality show. The concept of the show will involve the Snow Man members taking a break from their busy everyday lives to travel around Japan, where they will share their true feelings and dreams with each other in a natural and unfiltered state while enjoying local travel spots in Japan.
The band debuted in 2012 and have sold over 20 million records in Japan.
The new show builds on the growing enthusiasm amongst Japanese audiences towards unscripted content and exemplifies the shared ambitions of Disney, Nippon TV and Starto Entertainment to spotlight the most exciting talent from Japan to global audiences, and to cooperate in new and innovative ways.
Carol Choi, Executive Vice President of Original Content Strategy at The Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific, said in a statement regarding the new lineup of international originals.
