Disney has announced details on a new documentary from National Geographic called “Titanic: The Digital Resurrection”.

The new documentary uses cutting-edge scanning technology and state-of-the-art CGI, a team of experts produces the first high-res, 3D  digital twin of the wreck of the Titanic. Through an unprecedented immersive investigation, the team reveals the ship’s fateful final moments, the heroics and cowardice of those on board, and the truth about how the “unsinkable” ship sank.

“Titanic: The Digital Resurrection” will premiere on April 11th 2025 at 9/8c on the National Geographic channel and it will stream the next day on Disney+ and Hulu on Saturday 12th April 2025.   No international Disney+ release details for this documentary have been announced yet, but expect it to arrive at a later date.
