“The Testaments” Debuts On The Nielsen Streaming Chart

Nielsen has announced its top 10 streaming charts for the United States from May 25th 2026, to May 31st 2026. There are four different charts: Top 10 Originals, Acquired Shows, Movies, and a combined total chart.

With the season finale dropping onto Hulu and Hulu On Disney+, the original series, “The Testaments”, which is a spinoff of the popular “Handmaid’s Tale” series, debuted on the Nielsen original chart for the first time.

Amazon’s latest original series, “Spider-Noir” series, which is based on the popular Marvel comic book series, had a strong debut on the Nielsen Chart following its binge drop release on Prime Video.  “Spider-Noir” tells the story of Ben Reilly (Nicolas Cage), a seasoned, down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life, following a deeply personal tragedy, as the city’s one and only superhero. 

Disney continues to hold a large share of the acquired charts, with its biggest hits, including “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Bluey”, “Family Guy”, and “Bob’s Burgers”, still drawing viewers on Hulu and Disney+.   Disney also took advantage of popular licensed content, such as “Criminal Minds”.
