“The Roses” Coming Soon To Hulu & Disney+
Disney has announced details on the upcoming Searchlight Pictures movie, “The Roses”, which will be coming to Hulu and Disney+ later this year.
The movie stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman, who play the picture-perfect couple, Ivy and Theo, who on the outside look like life seems easy for them, with successful careers, a loving marriage, and great kids. But beneath the façade of their supposed ideal life, a storm is brewing – as Theo’s career nosedives while Ivy’s own ambitions take off, a tinderbox of fierce competition and hidden resentment ignites.
“The Roses” is a reimagining of the 1989 classic film “The War of the Roses”, based on the novel by Warren Adler.
Directed by Jay Roach, the Searchlight Pictures film stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman in a hilariously
harrowing story of love, ambition, and spectacular dysfunction.
The cast is rounded out by Andy Samberg, Allison Janney,Belinda Bromilow, Sunita Mani, Ncuti Gatwa, Jamie Demetriou, Zoë Chao, and Kate McKinnon.
“The Roses” will be coming to Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and Disney+ in Canada on 20th November 2025.
However, British and European Disney+ subscribers will have to wait a couple of weeks, as the film will be released there on December 3rd 2025.
