Disney has released the first trailer for the upcoming sixth season of the hit series, “The Rookie”, which returns to our screens in March.

The series focuses on John Nolan, who was once the oldest rookie in the LAPD, and has used his life experience, determination and sense of humour to keep up with rookies 20 years his junior. Nolan now faces his biggest challenge as a police officer, when he must come to terms with the choices he has made in pursuit of the truth.

The series stars Nathan Fillion as John Nolan, Mekia Cox as Nyla Harper, Alyssa Diaz as Angela Lopez, Richard T. Jones as Sergeant Wade Grey, Melissa O’Neil as Lucy Chen, Eric Winter as Tim Bradford, Shawn Ashmore as Wesley Evers, Jenna Dewan as Bailey Nune and Tru Valentino as Aaron Thorsen.

Alexi Hawley is writer and executive producer. Mark Gordon, Nathan Fillion, Michelle Chapman, Jon Steinberg, Bill Norcross, Bill Roe and Brynn Malone are executive producers on the series.

The previous five seasons of “The Rookie” are available to stream now on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States. Entertainment One (eOne) is the lead studio on “The Rookie” and has international distribution rights for the series. The series is also a co-production with ABC Signature.

“The Rookie” returns on Tuesday, 20th February 2024, at 9:00 p.m. EST on ABC. New episodes will be available the following day on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+.
