Disney has released a trailer for the upcoming documentary “The Quincy Avery Effect”, which has been created by Bryant Robinson and tell the story of legendary NFL quarterback coach Quincy Avery, who reflects on his rise to training some of the league’s most famous players.

This new original film highlights the remarkable rise of Black quarterbacks in the NFL, breaking through decades of barriers. For too long, Black athletes were told they couldn’t excel in the sport’s most coveted position. Through Quincy’s mentorship, athletes like Jalen Hurts, Justin Fields, CJ Stroud, and Jordan Love have shattered those limits and paved the way for future generations.

This new original documentary will premiere on April 23rd 2025 on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States. No international release details for Disney+ have yet been confirmed.
