To tie in with the release of the new original series, “The Muppets Mayhem”, on Disney+, Walt Disney Records has released the soundtrack to the series on digital platforms, including Amazon, Spotify and Apple.

The comedy series follows The Electric Mayhem Band — Dr. Teeth on vocals and keyboards, Animal on drums, Floyd Pepper on vocals and bass, Janice on vocals and lead guitar, Zoot on saxophone and Lips on trumpet — on an epic, music-filled journey to record their first-ever studio album. With the help of a driven young music executive, Nora, the old-school Muppet band comes face to face with the current day music scene as they try to finally record their first studio album.

The soundtrack includes new original songs performed by Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. There are several original tracks that have been written by executive music producer Linda Perry in addition to some new original score music that has been composed by Mick Giacchino, who has previously worked on “Zootopia+.
