With the Disney+ Original series, “The Mandalorian”, becoming one of the biggest shows on the planet, Disney isn’t going to let an opportunity slide by them, as according to the Know, “Mando” and “Baby Yoda”, will soon be coming to Disney theme parks such as Disneyland and Walt Disney World.

While speaking to Lucasfilm’s senior vice president of licensing, Paul Southern, at a special event ahead of the New York Toy Fair, he said:

“So, the reality is that we feel it’s really important for our guests at the parks to be able to meet all of our key characters on a first-hand, personal basis.  And so it’s something we’re working on. We think it’s appropriate, and I think it’s something the guests at the parks can look forward to in the very near future.”

Nothing official has been announced by Lucasfilm or Disney, but this would be a interesting Meet & Greet opportunity for guests visiting the parks, especially the new “Galaxy’s Edge” theme areas at Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

It wouldn’t be too difficult for Disney to get someone to play “The Mandalorian”, since he never takes his helmet off, though a fully animatronic “Baby Yoda” would cost much more for Disney to make.  But if they could get this into the parks before the second season hits Disney+ in the Fall, it would be extremely popular with guests.

Would you like to meet “The Mandalorian” and “Baby Yoda” on your next trip to the Disney theme parks?
