Following the final episode of “The Golden Bachelor” being released on ABC and Hulu, Disney has announced that a brand new special called “The Golden Wedding” will premiere live on ABC at 8:00-10:00 p.m. EST on Thursday 4th January 2024.  The episode will be available to stream in the United States on-demand and on Hulu and Disney+ the day following the premiere.

After more than 20 years of fostering young love on “The Bachelor,” “The Bachelorette” and “Bachelor in Paradise,” “The Golden Bachelor” showcases a whole new kind of love story – one for the golden years. On this all-new unscripted series, one hopeless romantic is given a second chance at love in the search for a partner with whom to share the sunset years of life. The women arriving at the mansion have a lifetime of experience, living through love, loss and laughter, hoping for a spark that ignites a future full of endless possibilities. In the end, will our Golden man turn the page to start a new chapter with the woman of his dreams?

In this “Golden Wedding” special, after lifetimes of love and loss and a whirlwind journey on “The Golden Bachelor,” Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist will walk down the aisle to begin their next chapter, happily ever after. The special is hosted by Jesse Palmer.

Previous episodes of “The Golden Batchelor” are available to stream now on Hulu. Later this month, Hulu content will soon be available on Disney+, which is why the new special will be available on both platforms in the US.
