“The Bear” Season 3 To Begin Production In Early 2024
Earlier this month, Disney announced that it had renewed the FX series, “The Bear”, for a third season. The series follows Carmy, a young fine-dining chef, who comes home to Chicago to run his family sandwich shop. As he fights to transform the shop and himself, he works alongside a rough-around-the-edges crew that ultimately reveals themselves as his chosen family.
“The Bear” stars Jeremy Allen White starring along with Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Abby Elliott, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Edwin Gibson and Matty Matheson in recurring roles.
With the actors’ and writers’ strikes now over, according to Deadline, production on the third season is set to begin after the holidays in late February to early March.
During a recent premiere event for the upcoming film, “The Iron Claw”, Jeremy Allen White revealed that he is hoping the third season will once again be full of guest stars. The second season featured many different guest stars, including Jon Bernthal, Bob Odenkirk, Sarah Paulson, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Olivia Coleman.
FX’s “The Bear” was created by Christopher Storer (Ramy, Eighth Grade), who acts as executive producer alongside Joanna Calo (BoJack Horseman, Undone), Hiro Murai (Atlanta, Station Eleven) of Super Frog, Josh Senior and Matty Matheson, with Tyson Bidner (Ramy) serving as producer. The series is produced by FX Productions.
The first two seasons of The Bear are available to stream on Hulu in the U.S., Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ in all other territories.
