Disney has officially announced that it has renewed the popular series, “Tell Me Lies” for a third season.

The series follows a tumultuous but intoxicating relationship as it unfolds over the course of 8 years. When Lucy Albright (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen DeMarco (Jackson White) meet at college, they are at that formative age when seemingly mundane choices lead the way to irrevocable consequences. Although their relationship begins like any typical campus romance, they quickly fall into an addictive entanglement that will permanently alter not only their lives, but the lives of everyone around them.

The announcement was made on social media, stating:

“Tell Me Lies” stars Grace Van Patten, Jackson White, Cat Missal, Spencer House, Sonia Mena, Branden Cook, Alicia Crowder, and Tom Ellis. Thomas Doherty is a recurring guest star.

Meaghan Oppenheimer serves as executive producer & showrunner. Emma Roberts, co-founder Karah Preiss and Matt Matruski executive produce under their Belletrist banner, Laura Lewis and Stephanie Noonan executive produce for Rebelle Media. Shannon Gibson and Sam Schlaifer also serve as executive producers. Adapted from Carola Lovering’s novel of the same name, Lovering serves as a consulting producer. The original series is produced by 20th Television.

Currently, not details have been revealed on when the third season will be filmed or released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world.

Roger’s Take: It’s great to see this series has been successful enough to warrant a third season, and it’s rare that a drama series gets to a third season nowadays.  No doubt fans of the series will be happy with this renewal.  

The first two seasons of “Tell Me Lies” are available to stream now on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world.
