Teagan Croft & Milo Manheim To Star In Disney’s “Tangled” Live-Action Remake
Disney has had lots of success with live-action reimaginings of its classic animated films, with “Beauty And The Beast”, “Lilo & Stitch”, “The Lion King” and “Aladdin”, all being huge box office hits.
The next Walt Disney Animation classic film to get the live-action treatment will be “Tangled”, which is a retelling of the classic Rapunzel fairytale.
It will be directed by Michael Gracey, who has previously worked on “Better Man” and “The Greatest Showman”. It will be produced by Kristin Burr, who previously worked on Disney’s “Cruella” and “Freakier Friday”. Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, who previously worked on “Thor: Love and Thunder”, has written the script.
Today, Disney has officially announced that Teagan Croft and Milo Manheim are going to be playing the roles of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider in the live-action reimagining of Disney’s Tangled.
Teagan has previously starred in “Titans”, while Milo has worked with Disney on many projects, including the “Zombies” films.
It was also confirmed that the film will be coming first to theatres, though no release date was announced. As with other movies, we should expect to see the movie released on Disney+ a few months after its cinema release.
“Tangled”, along with the spin-off animated series are also available to stream on Disney+.
