Disney has announced that the upcoming documentary, “Super Junior: The Last Man Standing”, will be released on Disney+ in countries across the Asia-Pacific region, including Singapore, Thailand, Japan, South Korea, Philippines, and Malaysia on Wednesday, 18th January 2023, which is the group’s 18th anniversary.   This documentary will be released globally on Disney+ on the same date, following previous K-Pop Disney+ Originals, “BTS: Permission To Dance” and “Into The Soop: Friendcation”.

This new Disney+ Original series will focus on the K-pop boy group “Super Junior”, who has been dubbed by the media as the “King of Hallyu Wave”. The band is the best-selling K-pop artist for four years in a row and has won numerous awards since the band was created in 2005.

The series was described by Disney as a “one-of-a-kind exploration of SUPER JUNIOR and its members, offering new insights into the modern K-pop industry”.

This brand-new documentary will feature never-before-seen interviews with the group’s current members – Lee Teuk, Hee Chul, Ye Sung, Shin Dong, Eun Hyuk, Dong Hae, Si Won, Ryeo Wook, and Kyu Hyun. The Super Junior members will recount their personal stories and share insights on the group as well as the modern K-pop industry.

A new poster for the series has been released featuring the popular K-Pop band.
