The upcoming Disney+ Star Wars show featuring Captain Cassian Andor and K2SO from Rogue One is added two new actors to its roster.  According to Variety, Stellan Skarsgard and Kyle Soller are in final negotiations to join the show.

Stellan Skarsgard has appeared in the hit show “Chernobyl” and has appeared in multiple Marvel movies.  While Kyle Soller has appeared in a number of British shows including “101 Dalmation Street”, “Brexit” and “Poldark.

It’s also been revealed that Tony Gilroy, who was one of the Rogue One’s co-writers, has written the first episode and will be directing multiple episodes of the show.  The show will also see Stephen Schiff working on the series as a showrunner.

This upcoming show is due to hit Disney+ in 2021, though its unknown if the current Coronavirus situation will delay the release of the series.

The “Rogue One” spin off is set before the events of the movie and will be a “spy thriller”.  It will see both Diego Luna and Alan Tudyk return as their roles of Captain Cassian Andor and KS2O.
