Hot off the huge success of the first season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian on Disney+, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced during the companies investors conference call, that the Mandalorian would be returning for a second season in October 2020.

This timing does seem to work nicely with the two other big Disney+ series coming, Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be arriving in August, and WandaVision is coming in December, so the Mandalorian will fit right in the middle, keeping subscribers coming back week after week for months.

Bob Iger also confirmed that there will be more “Mandalorian” coming after the second season, with other characters being introduced and possible spin-offs of characters from the series.

The whole of the first season of The Mandalorian is now available at Disney+.
