During today’s Disney Parks: Where Star Wars Comes to Life panel at Star Wars Celebration in London, some of the creative minds from Walt Disney Imagineering and Lucasfilm shared a special look at how Disney brings Star Wars to life in its parks and beyond.

At one point during the presentation, The Mandalorian and Grogu appeared on the stage and warned us about a bounty being placed on one of the Imagineer’s heads.   The character has recently debuted at Walt Disney World, Disneyland and at Disneyland Paris as a meet-and-greet character, showcasing how Disney is bringing in newer characters into the theme parks.

It was also revealed that in 2024, the popular Star Tours attraction at Walt Disney World, Disneyland and at Disneyland Paris would be getting an upgrade, where guests will be transported to new locations, that will be seen in the upcoming Star Wars Disney+ shows.

Star Tours: The Adventures Continue allows rebels of all ages will board a Starspeeder 1000 and take off on a thrilling 3D voyage to stunning star systems and war-torn worlds, from Jakku and Hoth to Tatooine and even the dreaded Death Star.

Loaded with state-of-the-art technology and over 60 mission combinations, this is an experience sure to thrill the most devout Jedi in the galaxy.

No real details were provided on which Disney+ shows this would be, and we know these locations have to be based on the Disney+ shows, since no new film is being released for a while.  One of the great things about Star Tours, is that they can update the attraction to feature different locations from different timelines, having scenes from all three trilogies.

With a number of different Disney+ shows to pick from, like “The Mandalorian”, “Ahsoka”, “The Acolyte”, “Andor”, and “Skeleton Crew”, it looks very likely some of these characters and locations will be heading to Star Tours next year.
