“Star Wars: Andor” Social Media Reactions
The latest Star Wars series, “Andor”, is set to arrive on Disney+ next week, and the social media reaction embargo has now lifted, giving us a first look at how critics have responded to the new series.
The “Andor” series will explore a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.
Here’s my social media reaction to watching the first four episodes:
#Andor is a gritty, grounded & realistic #StarWars series for #disneyplus. It has a slower pace, but hits hard & has a more serious tone. Very different to Mando. I really enjoyed it & can't wait for more. Don't expect too many Easter Eggs/Cameos. 3 episodes arrive on 21st Sept pic.twitter.com/w0CZfGPrOa

And here are some other reactions for “Andor”
ANDOR is the next chapter in Star Wars, and is such an exciting piece of storytelling. Diego Luna is absolutely killing it as #Andor, and I’m so excited to see the rest of this show, I think this will blow people away! pic.twitter.com/jdyfM5WBQb

Just 4 episodes in and #Andor is already the best of #Disney+. The difference in quality is so vivid. The character’s journey and stakes are what keep you interested. No reliance on cameos, fan-service or action. More thrill and stakes are provided just through brilliant writing. pic.twitter.com/ODrVszxvnz

#Andor episodes 1-4 are terrific. This is the content Star Wars fans have been waiting for, it's dark, gritty and beautifully shot throughout with the political side being mesmerising to me. If this is the direction the franchise is taking, then the future is very bright. (1/2) pic.twitter.com/iZrxokxokT

I had the opportunity to watch the first four episodes of #Andor and this series is seriously SO GOOD! It’s dark, gritty and the story has got me hooked. It starts out slow but as we continue along the episodes, it gets better. Here are some things I enjoyed throughout the 4 eps:

#Andor is NOT what I expected. It's a mix of STAR WARS UNDERWORLD and LORD OF THE FLIES, an odd pairing that works. Diego Luna, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw and Stellan Skarsgård give standout performances. It's action-packed, yet a slow burn and I can't wait to see how it ends. pic.twitter.com/SVqfnhnfvq
