Disney has announced that Spotify has released a brand-new Spotify Single by The Muppets’ iconic band, The Electric Mayhem, in celebration of their recently launched series “The Muppets Mayhem” on Disney+. This single is a reimagined, acoustic version of the group’s new hit “Rock On,” which is sure to delight longtime listeners and new fans.

The comedy series follows The Electric Mayhem Band — Dr. Teeth on vocals and keyboards, Animal on drums, Floyd Pepper on vocals and bass, Janice on vocals and lead guitar, Zoot on saxophone and Lips on trumpet — on an epic, music-filled journey to record their first-ever studio album. With the help of a driven young music executive, Nora, the old-school Muppet band comes face to face with the current day music scene as they try to finally record their first studio album.

In conjunction with the release of the single, Spotify published a fun promotional video documenting The Electric Mayhem’s trip to the Spotify Studios in LA to record their single. Fans can follow the band’s epic journey as they make their way to the recording studio and encounter some new friends along the way, including artists Rico Nasty, Ashnikko, Orville Peck, and even comedian Bobby Moynihan.

“The Muppets Mayhem” is available to stream now on Disney+, and you’ll find the new single on Spotify now.
