Sony Pictures has announced that “Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse” will be available to purchase on digital platforms, including Amazon, Apple and Vudu, on August 8th 2023. The film will then be released on physical media, including Blu-Ray, DVD, and 4K UHD on September 5th 2023.

Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse saga, “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters the Spider Society, a team of Spider-People charged with protecting the Multiverse’s very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must set out on his own to save those he loves most. Anyone can wear the mask – it’s how you wear it that makes you a hero.

The digital release comes with exclusive bonus features, including commentary from the filmmakers, lyric videos of the songs featured in the movie, and a deleted scene with Miguel O’Hara, AKA Spider-Man 2099.

Since Sony Pictures distributes this movie, once it’s completed its digital and physical release window, in the United States, the film will be going to Netflix for the Pay 1 window. Then around eighteen months later, Disney have the Pay 2 window rights for its streaming service in the US.
